Built-in Signal Conditioning
Featuring state-of-the-art, fully-integrated signal conditioning for a wide variety of strain, IEPE, thermocouple, and multi-mode conditioners, as well as instrumentation amplifiers and frequency-to-voltage conversion, the built-in signal conditioning is fully compatible with all DataFlex-1000 and DataFlex-1000A models, fully-integrated, and self-calibrating. Whether your have a 16-channel standard system or a 1,000-channel customized solution, each channel can be set-up via spreadsheet or with an easy-to-use comprehensive GUI and can be run locally or remotely via an integrated Ethernet connection. 
 
The DataFlex-1000 and DataFlex-1000A Series with signal conditioning has been specifically designed to provide an easy, cost-effective way to perform a wide variety of tests, and satisfy a multitude of applications, without separate signal-conditioning plug-in modules. It provides flexible performance that can be configured to meet exact functionality and budgetary requirements, including as a back-up, stand-alone signal conditioner when data recording is not required, within a broad range of rotating machinery industries including:   
  • Turbine engine monitoring
  • Energy generation
  • Acoustic testing within the aerospace industry
  • High-value shock and vibration testing for major Department of Defense customers and prime contractors  
Accommodating analog and digital requirements for a wide variety of vibration, telemetry, voice and video data storage applications, the DataFlex-1000 and DataFlex-1000A Series features a number of high-capacity, “hot-swappable” storage options, an analog bandwidth capacity of 97.2 kHz per channel with anti-alias filtering, and no degradation of bandwidth as channel count increases. DataFlex systems can be used as a high-performance, stand-alone data recorder/replay unit; a virtual lab instrument; or full-function data analyzer when integrated with DSPCon’s analytical software packages. The DataFlex produces and accepts a variety of data formats and directly writes to the DATX format, which is currently the data format of choice at a number of leading Fortune 100 organizations.

DataFlex-500/515 Series

Portable Data Recorders
 
 
The new DataFlex-500/515 Series  fully leverages DSPCon’s 17-year reputation in providing the industry’s highest-rated, large-channel-count data acquisition and analysis systems to deliver a portable solution for field- and remote-based applications requiring high-speed data recording along with real-time data analysis and archiving of up to 64 channels.
 
The DataFlex-515 is a rugged, ultra- portable, battery-powered lunchbox data recorder specifically designed for extended use in the field. It combines a flame-retardant design with fully integrated keyboard and 15-inch, anti-glare screen, high capacity recording (dual 500 GB hard disk drives), and  two, hot-swappable, dual lithium ion battery packs to provide a total of 100 watts of output power and 190 watt-hours of capacity, delivering an unmatched four hours of continuous operation.  Its ease of set-up in the field, along with its rugged outer housing, robust safety features, and extended battery life make it an ideal solution for data and video recording of seismic, flight line, in-flight, and factory floor applications.

The Data-Flex-500 data recorder features a 750 Gbyte SATA drive, a large 17-inch, anti-glare screen and an all-aluminum, heavy-duty housing with shock-absorbing corner protection, making it ideal for turbine pump and motor testing.

BroadFlex-3800™ 

Wideband, Flight-Capable Data Recorder
 
BroadFlex-3800 Featuring small form factors and low power consumption, the new BroadFlex-3800 series of ELINT and COMINT data recorders represents an ideal, sophisticated, compact, data recording solution for a wide variety of IF and radar signals, in flight and shipboard, at high speeds and high volume. In operation, one to 32 intermediate frequency analog signals can be recorded to two, high-density, ultra-compact JBOD storage units. Post flight data acquisition download of stored data is easily accomplished due to a powerful, PC-based analyzer that allows the operator to search for and selectively archive data. With one of the smallest footprints of any flight-capable data recorder on the market today, the BroadFlex-3800 is an ideal solution for UAV's, submarines and small aircraft.
